"Comfortable little family ran motel, the best part honestly was being greeted by the giant sweetheart of a white lab outside. The rooms were comfortable and clean. There are plenty of restaurants and coffee shops within 5 minutes. The overall esthetic of the motel is very pleasant, have a seat outside in the cool mountain air and have a brew or two after a good day of hiking in Glacier NP. The dog will probably join you. (Seriously such a kind hearted animal) nice hot showers, comfortable beds, warm blankets, really an exceptional place that makes you feel welcome and at home. I'll be back."

"We loved this sweet little motel, the kitten in the lobby, and home-baked goodies from Eva, the owner whose work ethic is only interrupted by her compulsion to make guests feel welcome and at home. Room was immaculate, toiletries were aromatic. A great motel experience! Subway and China Wall--both excellent--are right next door. Guests coming by train should be aware that motel is a mile and a half from the depot. You will be wise to make advance arrangements for transportation with Arrow Shuttle."

"The Chalet Motel was a pleasant surprise. As soon as we pulled in we felt the warmth of the family owned establishment. Very clean rooms and modern decor with a vintage vibe. Excellent location and affordable. It’s close to Downtown Whitefish, many stores are walking distance. Owner was very sweet and helpful and we even got homemade cookies on our last night. Would definitely recommend staying here and will definitely come back."

"While an older building, it is obvious that ownership has updated and renovated extensively and created a modern an clean establishment with an emphasis on customer service. I certainly recommend this motel."
